California-specific facts
- A published Crunch California agreement repeats the state's rights: you can cancel before midnight of the fifth business day of the health studio after the agreement date (excluding Sundays and holidays) by mailing, emailing or delivering a signed and dated notice.
- The same agreement says that if you move more than 25 miles from the club and can't transfer to a comparable facility, you're relieved of future payments. It allows an administrative fee of up to $100 if you cancel within the first 6 months because of relocating, or up to $50 after that.
- It also relieves you or your estate of payments for services not received after death or a physician-confirmed disability that keeps you from using the facilities.

- Online (some clubs): Member Portal > Manage Membership.
- Phone or in person: contact your home club. Club numbers are on crunch.com's locations page.

Cooling-off: You can cancel before midnight of the fifth business day of the health studio after the date of the agreement, not counting Sundays and holidays.
Disability / death: Disability or death: if a physician-verified disability keeps you from using the facilities, or you die, you (or your estate) are relieved of future payments, and prepaid amounts for unused services must be refunded.
Moving away: Moving: if you move more than 25 miles from the health studio and can't transfer to a comparable facility, you are relieved of future payments and prepaid unused amounts must be refunded. The contract may allow a predetermined relocation fee of up to $100 (lower later in the term).
